Mengutip dari website DEPDIKNAS. Berdasarkan kesepakatan BSNP (Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan), Depdiknas dan Depag maka diputuskan jadwal UN sebagai berikut :
1. SMA/MA : 20 - 24 April 2009
2. SMP/MTs : 27 - 30 April 2009
3. SD/MI : 12 - 14 Mei 2009
4. SMK/SMALB : 20 - 22 April 2009
Jadwal ini juga sekaligus menghapus kesimpangsiuran majunya jadwal UN.
